Terms of Service

1. The service
NIS2Ready provides (a) a free online NIS2 self-assessment, and (b) paid gap analysis reports (the "Service"). The Service helps companies identify potential gaps against the requirements of Article 21 of Directive (EU) 2022/2555 (NIS2).
2. Not legal advice: not a certification
The Service does not constitute legal, regulatory or compliance advice, and is not a certification of compliance with NIS2 or any national implementing legislation. Reports are based on self-reported information that has not been independently verified. You are responsible for confirming your obligations with your national competent authority and, where appropriate, qualified legal counsel.
3. Orders and payment
- Prices are displayed in EUR and are one-time payments unless stated otherwise.
- Payment is processed by Stripe. By purchasing, you agree to Stripe's terms as the payment processor.
- Invoices are issued electronically upon request.
4. Delivery
Reports are delivered by email within 48 hours of receiving (i) payment and (ii) completed assessment answers, whichever is later. If we cannot deliver within this period, we will notify you and agree a new deadline or offer a full refund.
5. Refunds
- If you cancel before your assessment answers are received, you are entitled to a full refund.
- Once the report has been delivered, the service is considered performed. If the report contains a material error attributable to us, we will correct it free of charge.
- Where applicable under EU consumer law (14-day withdrawal for digital services), your right of withdrawal is lost once you consent to the immediate start of the service and receive the deliverable.
6. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate and complete answers to the assessment.
- Do not submit personal data of individuals (e.g., employee health data) in the assessment.
- Comply with all applicable laws, including data protection law, when using the Service.
7. Intellectual property
Reports and website content are provided for your internal business use. You may share the report with your board, auditors, insurers or customers, and brand it as your own (white-label). You may not resell the report or the Service.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, NIS2Ready's total liability arising from or related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the Service. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including fines, penalties or lost revenue resulting from reliance on the Service.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if you breach these Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Portugal, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules.
